Big Creek Park (Pedestrian Loop)

On this day, I went back to Big Creek Park. I’d done my research and I knew that there was a pedestrian trail, and that it formed a loop, but once I started on the right side and had gone basically up to the edge of the Big Creek Greenway, I realized I didn’t know how where, exactly, the trail looped around.

At one point, you enter a part of the trail where signage is sparse (which is ironic because this is the part of the trail that needs signage the most) and it’s hard to tell where the pedestrian path loops around, or even where you’re supposed to be walking.

Around this area, the pedestrian and bike paths kind of converge, which is confusing. I posted about it in the “himbo moments” channel of my discord server (pictured below.) I ended up exiting the nature trail and walking all the way down that liminal road to get to my car, because at least I knew where that was going.

I really hope the City of Roswell Parks and Recreation Department sees this: Please add clearer signage for the Big Creek Park pedestrian loop over by the “Skills Kitchen” mountain bike area. Thanks!
